9th Annual TasteBuds
to Benefit the Beautification and Enhancement of Downtown Annapolis

tastebuds logoAnnapolis, Maryland – August 6, 2008 – The Annapolis Business Association (ABA) is pleased to announce its annual fundraiser for the Beautification and Enhancement of Downtown Annapolis, one of country’s finest urban beautification programs. The event will be held at the Loews Annapolis Hotel on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

TasteBuds is a culinary adventure which includes tastings from up to 25 well known restaurants and free wine and beer. The event will also feature a Martini Bar, live music a silent auction.

“This year’s Tastebuds will have some exciting new features, including a chance to win one of two Venice Vmoto scooters or 100 gallons of gas,” said Jessica Jordan, Annapolis Business Association President. “TasteBuds attendees will not only have an incredible evening, but also help keep Downtown Annapolis beautiful year round, such as the festive decorations that transform the city into a holiday wonderland every December.”

“The Annapolis Jaycees also contribute to this effort by hanging the greens. We look forward to working with them again this year.”

Event tickets are $75 per person. Raffle tickets are $10 each. Tickets can be purchased through annapolistickets.com, or at Laurance Clothing on Main Street, or the Loews Annapolis Hotel and Rams Head Tavern on West Street.
