In addition to promotion and advocacy of our members, we are proud to play a part in improving the quality of life in Annapolis... we also give back to the community that supports our businesses. During the year the Association actively supports community charity projects such as community improvement projects benefiting our residential and commercial neighbors in Annapolis.
For example, we support the City of Flowers campaign by managing and paying for all the hanging flower baskets and pots throughout downtown Annapolis during the Spring and Summer. We developed and host the annual “TasteBuds” food and wine gathering fundraiser to raise funds for the flower program.
Funds for the flowers are raised through the TasteBuds Annapolis event and through contributions, as well as a matching grant from the City.
